This weekend saw the culmination of the Centenary Cup competition at Leigh Park Bowls Club. In the semi finals Milton Park took on Pembroke Gardens in an all city game with Milton running out comfortable winners 38 shots to 22. In the other semi final it was an all western affair with Portchester taking on Lee on The Solent with Lee running away with a 41 to 26 result.

This set up the Milton Park versus Lee on the Solent final which the high flying Milton Park won 41-31.

The rink scores being Adrian Snook (Milton Park) beat Graham Hillier (Lee on the Solent) 29-12 and Pete Gentry (Lee on the Solent) beat Dave Brown ( Milton Park) 19 -12.
